Mrityunjay Yoga as a responsible yoga institute is providing Free Online Yoga Sessions to people Everyday at 9 am. The sessions are mainly focused on building immunity and developing lung capacity.
Manju Jha, our director and yoga guru with 25+ years of experience has done her own research in the field and has come up with set of asanas and pranayama which when practiced daily can help to get better immunity and a healthy body.
With the upsurge in COVID cases at an alarming rate, people are reeling under fear and anxiety of the unknown. People are feeling helpless and clueless as to how to stop the spread and what to do to protect themselves from contacting the disease. To be honest there is no sure shot cure for it other practising personal hygiene and maintaining distance from infected person. However, people with stronger immunity and better lung capacity have a lesser chance of getting infected, than those with lesser immunity.
As advised by WHO and Government exercises, yoga, pranayama should be an integral part of one’s life at this time as it can be a contributing factor in building immunity.
As desperate time calls for desperate action, this is our desperate attempt to make people aware of the importance of better immunity and a healthy body. We have started this online class to provide them the benefit of yoga and pranayama not only physically but mentally as well. COVID doesn’t only affect physically it’s affecting them psychologically and mentally as well, anxiety, fear, even depression is on the rise since the onset of COVID.
